The infamous Pakistani rock band Strings has been disassembled. Though we can’t watch them together again, let’s wish for their future works.
And this is for music lovers, clench your guts because it is a heartbreaking news for you all. Yes, we too are unhappy to declare that Pakistani hard rock band Strings has officially announced that they are terminating the 33 years long melodious team.
The members took to social media for confirming their breakup. We can’t get over this and the fans will be all shattered to listen to this.
The verified account of the band shared an emotional note on Instagram. They said this post is a bit different from the usual and 25/03/2021 is the day they graciously conclude Strings.
They added on an ending remark that the band will not be technically together, but the two members share an inseparable bond that will connect them no matter where life will take them to.
The band’s first major hits Strings I and Strings II that we’re out in 1990 and 1992. However, after an eight-year stab, they came back and loaded us with wonderful tracks.
Still, we can’t wait to listen Dhaani, Duur, Sar Kiye Ye pahar, Kahaani Mohabbat Ki and Najane Kyun. The band is special and the bond of the audience with it is special.
The melodious squad was formed in the year in 1989. Initially, four college friends from Karachi established it. The quartet disbanded later and Rafiq and Kareem didn’t get back only Maqsood and Kapadia did.
Well, they were the first Pakistani band to have performed at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan. The number of accolades is in their name including Best Artist, MTV Asia Awards.
The past members of the band comprise Bilal Maqsood, Faisal Kapadia, Rafi Wazir, and Kareem Bashir Bhoy. After they disbanded and returned in the year 1992, we can only find Maqsood and Kapadia back.
Meanwhile, later on Aahad Nayani (guitarist), Haider Ali(keyboards), Adeel Ali (lead guitar) and Bradley D’souza joined the fantastic gang.
Moreover, besides we have listened to them in the concerts, there is a Bollywood camaraderie of the band. Surprise! Yes, those who don’t know let us tell you they have bestowed music in the movie Zinda for Yeh Hai Meri Kahani and Aakhri Alvida for the crime drama Shootout at Lokhandwala.
So it’s time to say goodbye to our charming and talented boys. We will keep listening to their old tracks and still will remember them constantly.
