Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, the film is produced by Vivek B. Agrawal and Shibashish Sarkar. It also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwari in other prominent roles.

The English adaption of the novel has Emily Blunt in the same role as that of Chopra. The intensity of divorced and drunk women is well depicted in the story. Let’s look into what Hindi version has got in it.

The look of an alcoholic woman

Parineeti must be praise for portraying a drunk woman. Be it her smudgy mascara that goes darker every time or the intense peek that she holds in her eyes is worth enhancing her acting skills that she already possess.

The contradicting lives

Mira Kapoor the lawyer who is devastated and is living a fragile life gets jealous, upset, or outraged by the beautiful and simple life of Nusrat John. How well the two contradiction leads to the circumstances and incidents is worth giving a watch.

Difficulties of life: The Girl on the Train

We all have problems in our daily lives, but we come across to find solutions to them. How the minute things can create a big fuss is shown incredibly through the movie. Kapoor getting divorced and developing jealousy towards Aditi’s character has put out twists and turns to the plot.

The other characters have done a great job

Aditi happy and modest woman living her own life gleams well till she found out to be dead. Meanwhile, Kirti Kulhari as Inspector Dalbir Singh Bagga has always shown us that give her whatever role and she will so it is a awesome way.

If you love thrillers then go for it. The story will not let you move a bit for a second it is engaging. Though there would be points you will lack connectivity. Moreover, the acting is fantastic.

Happy reading.
