Netflix dropped the trailer of the anthology film Ray. It stars Manoj Bajpayee, Kay Kay Menon, Ali Fazal, and Harshvardhan Kapoor in the lead roles. It will be streaming from June 25.
A human gets mad sometimes. His accomplishments and triumphs start creeping on his head. As a result, he starts comparing himself with the god.
We know as humans, we also give birth and creates life but can we still compete with the almighty. In the meantime, the audience figures out this answer, we must take a tour of the amazing trailer of Ray. Yes, the clip is out now and has given us another reason to love the ace filmmaker Satyajit Ray, whose inspiration has lead to such a thrilling venture.
The anthology that comprises four stories from the lot of Ray revolves around the concept of ego, revenge, envy, and betrayal. Abhishek Chaubey, Srijit Mukherji, and Vasan Bala are helming the project. It will be soon premiering on the streaming giant Netflix from June 25.
The ‘Forget me Not’ starring Ali Fazal as Ipsit Nair, the man whose brain is no less than a computer is seen losing his mind. His frustration and efficiency let him forget things about the girl he met. This dynamic entrepreneur has tasted victory and it would be interesting to watch him rolling down the time.
The next story has Harshvarrdhan Kapoor possessing divine looks (as what he thinks) is attracted towards a woman who has divine powers. But his boasting about himself came to a horizon where he felt nothing more than an actor who doesn’t even know acting. Though ‘Spotlight’ has much to say.
Kay Kay Menon has his own tale in Bahrupiya. An intelligent person is enough to handle a computer job, why is he addicted to makeup. Watching him transforming a lady into Juliet is what his liking is and he has high aims. He wants to write the destiny by his own hands. But, his boss doesn’t want to see his face. What will happen? We have to wait to attend to the side of the story.
The last is not at all the least. Because this ‘Family Man’ has converted himself to the ‘Poetic Man’ Musafir Ali. Plus, amidst his journey, he has met an individual whose wife is totally in love with his poetry. Ali’s motives are totally different. He is seeking his lost fame again. Will he be able to accomplish it?
However, all four have unique types of facets and the audience will explore them vying with the divine power. Would they be able to? Because after all, we are his child. One should remember not to compare ourselves with him because if we do we are definitely falling down
It seems this is what the narrator will be teaching us. Well, following the squad, are Gajraj Rao, Radhika Madan, Anindita Bose, Divyendu Bhatt and Shewta Basu Prasad in pivotal roles.
Catch the anthology film only on Netflix from the 25th of June.
