Indian Twitter users got misled after Tom Holland tweeted in favor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Holland they were thinking is not the Spiderman one. See here who he is.
Two days ago, on 24th, the Sardar Patel stadium that is the world’s largest cricket stadium got renamed as Narendra Modi Stadium in the name of our honorable current Prime Minister.
However, Tom Holland tweeted that he is a huge admirer of the modesty Modi showed in naming the world’s largest cricket stadium after himself. Well, he didn’t knew it will go wrong and started receiving the blames for spreading ‘international propaganda’.
The matter grew up so much that netizens started trolling #BoycottSpiderman to revolt against the upcoming Spiderman movie of Holland. But something went false here. What is that!
The Tom Holland who tweeted is not the one who the Twitter user thought of. He is actually an author not that Holland who portrays our favorite MCU character.
Rubicon, Persian Fire, and In The Shadow Of The Sword are some of his best works. Well, this confusion steered the trending of the hashtag. Let us see what the peeps have to say about this.
An account shared the picture of Paresh Rawal and tweeted “Tom Holland when he saw #BoycottSpiderman trending by bhakts because someone with similar name made a tweet”. The hilarious picture says Tom Holland Me Hu Mark Idhr hai(I’m Tom Holland, the mark is here).
Shamitr Mardikar goes sarcastic to say “Love how Twitter trying to frame the wrong tom holland with #BoycottSpiderman Well done guys!”.
Meanwhile, it is not the first time something is getting boycotted. Previously, Akshay Kumar starter Laxmmi also got protested. Aiming at this boycott thing, a user commented “That’s why I always say.. Twitter India is just a place to ban or boycott things”.
Some other citizens aimed towards BJP followers. One of them lets out “Trending #BoycottSpiderman is a perfect example why BJP followers are called blind-bhakts.😂😂”.
Well, the historian later on tweeted that 9
Well, the author later tweeted that “I apologize profusely to @ferocious1997. Like everyone who’s been mistaking me for Spider-Man, I tweeted without checking the bio. Rank hypocrisy on my part” providing a clarification.
